Cat News 🐾

I wanted to share something a little different this month. A pair of much-loved cats, Yogi and Bumble, have featured several times in Cat News — a wonderfully creative online newspaper dedicated entirely to feline happenings from around the world.

I was commissioned to paint a portrait in memory of them both. The painting was created from two separate photographs because, as any cat owner will know, persuading two cats to sit nicely together for a photo sounds like an impawsible task!

If you enjoy a good cat story, take a look at the Cat News website. Readers are invited to submit their own cat-related news stories, and the more creative, humorous and entertaining the better. If your story is selected, it will be published on the website and may even be accompanied by its own illustration.
